As a UX designer, I worked on a 1.5-year e-commerce platform project for an automotive company. The platform is designed to streamline online buying and selling of automobiles and related products and improve the overall user experience.
The biggest challenge was improving user navigation among a wide range of automotive products and services. Customers were struggling to navigate the complex options and lacked personalized support, which affected their shopping experience and reduced conversion rates.
We conducted thorough user research to determine customer preferences. The Findings led to a redesigned, more intuitive user interface with advanced search filters, individual recommendations and interactive vehicle configuration tools. We refined the ordering process and optimized the platform for various devices, which led to higher customer loyalty, satisfaction and increased sales.
